Open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 16th May- 28th September. No Booking necessary

Our one-of-a-kind highly unique and innovative 3 acres of luxuriously landscaped Welsh garden has extensive borders, set in over 20 acres of wonderful woodland and Wales’ best wild flower meadows. We welcome groups and individuals from May-September

Sculptures, fountains, grottos, moss garden, artificial rock face, tree sculptures, stumpery and so much more! 15th Century Farmhouse is available for viewing on request.

We welcome guests to our beautiful gardens, conveniently located just outside the market town of Newtown, Powys. Full directions can be found here.

Cwm Weeg has a history reaching as far back as the late 15th Century and is amongst the oldest inhabited dwellings in the Kerry/Dolfor area, built between 1460 – 1480. The original dwelling was a cruck framed, late medieval hall house with a two bay hall towards the south west and at least another bay at the north east end of the house. Half the hall had a cellar below which still exists today.

We were made very welcome by the hosts, who advised us what there was to see. Finished off with coffee and excellent home-made cake in the pavilion.

Stay at Cwm Weeg

The Gatehouse at Cwmweeg is a detached cottage on the grounds of Cwm Weeg Gardens. The 3 storey Gatehouse consists of the main part which sleeps 6 and a Studio with separate entrance which sleeps 2. The main part of the house has two king size bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower and toilet, and one twin bedroom.
